Perfect sea oases along the Adriatic coast: 17 of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia

Pebble and sandy beaches far from the city bustle where we can swim this summer

With over 1000 km of coastline and hundreds of spectacular islands, Croatia lures us every summer with the beauty of its beaches, coves and bays. But summer is not just reserved for the beach. Many will agree that the best time for the beach can be right after the main season, in the summer months, when the pressure, heat and crowds subside, and the days are still warm enough to spend time in a swimsuit. We bring 17 most beautiful beaches in Croatia some of which are still unknown.

Stiniva Beach, Vis

Along the southern coast of the island of Vis lies the striking Stiniva cove, surrounded by an almost circular ring of rocky cliffs with only a narrow opening to the sea. Part of its appeal lies in its inaccessibility – you can brave the steep descent from Žužeca, but most visitors arrive by boat and swim through the passage to the white pebble beach.

Ručica Beach, Pag

On Ručica Beach, you feel like you are in a secret paradise created by Mother Nature, far from the eyes of onlookers. This undiscovered sandy beach can be reached through the picturesque Kanjon area near Metajna. Ručica Beach is located outside the town, and is reached by a wide macadam road over a hill. It will take you about 10 minutes to walk, while you can get there in no time by car, and park near the beach. Ručica Beach attracts attention because of its clear sea and unusual landscape, and is not so visited, although it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. The irresistible scents of herbs, bright sun and warm breeze complete the feeling of being in the heart of the Mediterranean.
